Vehicle sourcing, explained
How Khumalo finds a car on a client's behalf in South Africa or abroad, the four steps from brief to handover, and what South African import rules mean for you.

Alongside its own cars, Khumalo finds cars for clients. You tell us the car you want, and we search for it on your behalf, in South Africa or abroad. We work for you, not for a seller.
The process
- Your brief. The make, model, years, specification, colour and the history that matters to you.
- The search. Dealers, private sellers, auctions and our network. We report back plainly, including when the right car is not available yet.
- Checks. History, condition and paperwork, with an inspection where possible, before you commit.
- Purchase, transport and paperwork. Under a written agreement, through to handover.
If the car is abroad
Importing vehicles into South Africa is regulated. New vehicles need approval from the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications. Used vehicles need an ITAC permit, which is granted only in specific cases, such as vintage or collectable cars. We confirm whether a car is eligible before you commit to anything.
