The process
One request, handled personally
Every search is handled individually. Costs, duties and timelines depend on the vehicle and where it comes from, so they are confirmed with you in writing before you commit to anything.
If the car is abroad
Importing vehicles into South Africa is regulated. New vehicles need approval from the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications before they can be registered. Used vehicles can only be imported with a permit from the International Trade Administration Commission (ITAC), which is granted only in specific cases, such as vintage or collectable vehicles, racing vehicles, and vehicles owned abroad by returning residents or new permanent residents. The search
We search dealers, private sellers, auctions and our network, locally and internationally, and report back plainly on what we find, including when the right car isn't available yet.
Checks
Before you commit, we look into the vehicle's history, condition and paperwork, and arrange an inspection where possible. Checks reduce risk but cannot rule out every defect.
Purchase
Once you approve a car and the costs in writing, the purchase goes ahead under a written agreement.
Transport and paperwork
Collection, transport and the change of ownership. If the car is abroad and eligible for import: shipping, customs clearance and the approvals needed to register it in South Africa, coordinated with licensed specialists.
Handover
Registration, final preparation and delivery to you.
